I had a great time at the Walden. My family was able to check in fairly early which was amazing! The room was very clean and a good size. The outside pool was open but isn't heated so it was too cold;however the inside pool was heated and there is a hot tub. Breakfast was a good variety and juice/coffee was available 24/7. It was actually very quiet and loved the set back location. The only issues that happened were that the "sliding door" to the bathroom the lock was broken. Didn't affect our family of 3 but I could see how sharing a room with another adult it could. Also there was a small chair in our room that the leg completely fell off as soon as my 5 year old sat on it. I told the staff and they remedied the situation and apologized. Oh if your staying Wednesday nights beware garbage day is about 4am Thursday morning and it totally woke me and my 5 year old up...even over a sound machine. Also the TV channels...were very confusing it showed a guide..but would only show about 15 channels...but unbeknownst to us...you have to keep pressing channel up through those 15 individual channels to get to the next "guide" of another set of channels...and then again... So we spent 3 days thinking there were only 15 channels..we ended up having to watch a tablet the whole time. Again...we weren't there for TV, but as someone who likes to watch TV in bed it was kinda disappointing..also the beds were very firm. Overall I enjoyed my stay and I would definitely stay again now that I know some of the quirks. Great value and the staff were so kind.

Great location, several restaurants within walking distance Calhoun's, No way Jose's, a BBQ place, a crab/seafood place, Five Guys ect... easy walk over to The Islands. There's a Trolly stop in front of Calhoun's. The room is modern and BIG. The bathroom is very nice size also. The TV is huge for a hotel room. Fridge, microwave, Keurig. There is under bed lighting as well. Every room has a small balcony with 2 chairs w/cup holders built in. Tip: ask for a room overlooking the main strip, the back side is mainly parking lots. The pool and hot tub are nice ( we didn't use them but I took pics. The outside has chairs and fire pits. The breakfast was amazing. Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fried potatoes, Waffles, muffins, cereal, yogurts. ect...really good! Definitely would stay again!

The staff was VERY nice! Shout out to Shaneka )I hope I spelled it right) for always greeting us with a smile when we came through the door. And bringing us a shower curtain when I told housekeeping we were fine not realizing they had already started cleaning the room! My daughter was there for a pageant and they let her practice in the lobby with no complaints! The pools and hot tub were great. The balcony was a peaceful start to the day and breakfast always provided something my daughter and I could enjoy! The complimentary coffee and juice was a hit as we were on the go the whole stay.

The Room and bathroom were clean, neat in appearance, and well maintained. The breakfast was wonderful, fresh and supplied with several options. The breakfast room was clean, this includes the food and drink counters, tables and floors. The staff was cordial, helpful and readily available throughout the hotel. For my husband and I, the hotel was in an ideal location, it is semi mid-point to the attractions and surrounding towns we wanted to see/visit. At night, the view from the 6th floor was exceptional.

Everything was outstanding. The hotel and room were very clean and modern. My wife even mentioned that it had a clean smell when you walked in the door. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. The free breakfast was very good. Will definitely look at staying here on our next trip to Pigeon Forge.
